In this interview, we speak with John Benson Smith, Principal Consultant at John Benson Smith Food Consultancy and former BBC Masterchef judge. John has decades of experience in the Food and Drinks industry and has seen how it has changed over the years from many perspectives.
In our interview, John takes us through his presentation on how he thinks the industry will change with the Covid-19 pandemic through 2020 and beyond. Former Chef of the year and Gold medal holder, John’s award-winning background includes being a judge on the original TV series of BBC MasterChef.
This ‘superchef’ has enjoyed forty years in kitchens for Clients in Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, France, Jersey, the Middle East and of course the UK. He ran his famous Cookery School at the thousand years old Hazlewood Castle in Yorkshire with his wife Ally for ten years.
