Iced Irish Coffee Cocktail: Recipe from Home Restaurant
Speaker 1 (00:02)
Hi, everybody. My name is Brian Connolly, and I’m the system manager here at Home Restaurant in Belfast. And today, I’m going to take you through one of our cocktails on our list, which is called the Irish Ice Coffee. So to start off, we are going to use 30 millilitres of Black Bush whiskey from up on the North Coast, which is an eight-year-old whiskey, which is aged for five years in oak casks and finished for another two in Sherry. We will use this hazelnut potching, which we’ve sourced from Morn Dewey Distillery. In Morn, we will use 20 millilitres of that, and 35 millilitres of fresh Espresso. We’re going to have something, a little bit of extra sweetness in there with another 20 millilitres of sugar Syrup. And what we are going to do, just very gently shake this. We have a lot of strain. Got to have an ace copy without ice. And a nod to one of my favourite drinks, which is an Irish coffee. We are going to top this with a little bit of fresh cream. There we have it, guys. One Irishized coffee. Irish Ice Coffee.
